Winifred Cordy Jones was born on 9 February 1912 in New Zealand. She was the daughter of Frederick John Jones and Florence Booker.

Around 1935, she married Stephen Adolph Grubner.

In 1986, from the letters of administration of her brother Keith, she was a married woman living at Dargaville, Northland.

She passed away on 12 July 1989 at Dargaville, aged 77.
