Sarah married the Lewis Loyd, 11 Nov 1793, Cathedral, Manchester, Lancashire, England.

Lewis had been a dissenting Minister in Manchester, but on his marriage to Sarah, her brothers convinced him to join their banking business. The couple moved to London, where Lewis built the family banking business in to a large concern.

She was known as a lady highly esteemed by all who knew her, for the sweetness of her temper, the soundness of her understanding, and the goodness of her heart.
After a short illness, whilst on a visit to her brother William, Sarah died on the 1 Oct 1821, at Broughton, Hall, near Manchester. [5][6][7]
