I'm a college-aged genealogist who simultaneously has too much and too little time on her hands. I love data and am a computer science major.
I have an intermediate knowledge of Spanish, and a near-intermediate knowledge of Japanese (I know Hiragana and Katakana, but not very much Kanji)
Current project: Adding famous people (those with a Wikipedia page) from Japan who lack a Wikitree profile.'
I periodically add profiles for people with obituaries. I try to avoid mentioning living people in the obituaries, but if you want to know who they are message me and I'll send you a link to the newspaper clipping, if possible. If you want to attach someone living to someone I've created a profile for, no problem. I can even transfer profile management to you if you'd like.
Featured German connections: Samantha is 25 degrees from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, 27 degrees from Dietrich Bonhoeffer, 27 degrees from Lucas Cranach, 24 degrees from Stefanie Graf, 23 degrees from Wilhelm Grimm, 25 degrees from Fanny Hensel, 29 degrees from Theodor Heuss, 19 degrees from Alexander Mack, 37 degrees from Carl Miele, 19 degrees from Nathan Rothschild, 24 degrees from Hermann Friedrich Albert von Ihering and 25 degrees from Ferdinand von Zeppelin on our single family tree. Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one or more which best fit your research focus. Review the project pages for special guidelines and to learn how to collaborate with the project members.
Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.
