Although I have been interested in my ancestors since I found my birth parents in1982, it's only been in the past 15 years that I have actively searched to find out more. My quest has lead me to learn more through webinars and social media. I am currently completing my 3 formal training through the national institute for genealogical studies and hope one day to be board certified. I still consider myself a newbie and strive to understand and learn more. My Acadian and Irish roots run long and deep. I am one of the 14 founding Cheticamp, Nova Scotian Acadians!
