Joseph was born in 1788. He was the son of Francis Jakes.
Joseph, son of Francis Jaques, was baptised on 16 March 1788 in Stanhope, Durham, England.[1]
Joseph married Isabella Elliot on 6 June 1812 in Stanhope, Durham, England.[2] 6 Jun 1812 Joseph Jakes [Jacques] married Isabella Elliot, both of this parish, by banns Witnesses: John Elliot, Francis Jakes [3]
Joseph's death (age 50) was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1838 in the Weardale Union district.[4]
