Charles Jacques, age 67, died at the home of his brother William F. Jacques at 1 Elizabeth Street, Devon. He was born in Killingly, lived with his brother the last ten years. He was a retired instuctor and had taught at Bullard-Haven School in Bridgeport for 25 years. Charles was a member of the Connecticut Vocational Association. Suvivors include his mother Mrs. Leona Jacques of Devon, and six sisters: Mrs. Leona Humphret of Hollywood CA, Mrs. Pearl Lang of Providence RI, Mrs. Doris Earthbridge of Williamsburg MA, Miss Nelle Jacques, Mrs. Daisy Burton and Mrs. Dorothy Blake all of Putnam. Also three brothers: Walter of east Killingly, Harry of Elmira NY, and William of Devon. Burial 3 May 1950 at Putnam Heights Cemetery, Putnam. [4]
