Biography

Margaret was born in 1365. She was the daughter of John Jakes of Glemsford in Suffolk. She married Richard Braytoft of Braytoft, Lincolnshire. They were the parents of three daughters: Anne, married to John Ormsby; Elizabeth, wife of John Tarswell; and Catherine, married to Thomas Conby; also three sons, John, his successor; Thomas, of whom nothing further is known; and Hugh, who married Mary, the daughter of John Bellingham, by whom he had issue Margaret, who married Roger Cumberworth; by whom she had a daughter ..., " Anne, who married Thomas Wilson of Stubby.^[1][2]
