John Hooley, son of John and Jane, was born in Draycott, and baptised in Wilne in 1795. He appears to have married three times , to Mary Statham in 1821, to Sarah Trowell in 1831, and finally to Mary Jowett, in 1835. When he married in 1833, he was described as a "millhand",Census Returns for 1841, 51, show him working as a framework knitter, specialising in stockings in 1861, and in 1871 being described. simply, as a labourer. He died in 1872 Cause of Death:- Paralysis Coma; Sarah Statham in attendance [question who is this Sarah Statham?]
John Hooley and Sarah Trowell married on 28 Aug 1831 at Little Wilne, Derbyshire, England, [1]

Important Note ;- I am unhappy as to the accuracy of some of these supposed relationships; in particular the parentage of various Samuel and Joseph Hooleys living around this time. Help needed! See also:
By trade he was a Mllhand in 1833, a Stocking Framework Knitter, 1841-61, and in 1871 a "labourer".
