William Arthur Holman was born on 4 August 1871 in St Pancras, London, England, the son of Martha May Holman and William Holman.[1][2]
He and his family migrated to New South Wales (Australia) in November 1888 [3][4][5][1] They travelled on the ship 'Cuzco' to Hobson's Bay, Victoria, and subsequently settled in Sydney, New South Wales. [1]
William married Ada Augusta Kidgell on 22 January 1901 at the Oddfellow's Temple, Sydney, New South Wales. [1] They had a daughter: [1]
William was a politician, being appointed Premier of New South Wales 1913-1920 and elected to the Federal House of Representatives 1931 to his death in 1934.[1]
William died on 5 June 1934 in Gordon, New South Wales. [6][1]
