Arthur John HEYWOOD was born on 27 August 1918 in Narromine, New South Wales, Australia[1]. His parents were Peter HEYWOOD and Catherine KISSICK.
Dorothea Mignon BEUTLER and Arthur John HEYWOOD were married in 1938 in Windsor, New South Wales, Australia[2].
14 October 1941, Arthur enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force; Service Number: 61080[3][4]. He was assigned to the 4 School of Technical Training, attained the rank of Leading Aircraftman and was discharged on 30 January 1945
He passed away on 6 December 2006 in New South Wales, Australia and was buried at the Narromine General Cemetery[5]
