In Grandpa Hall's Letter grandpa, strangely, did not mention John. I only discovered John about 2018 when I was looking into the family of William and Ann.

John is on the 1891 Canada Census with his family^[2]. He is the son of William and Anne Hall. John is 19 years old (born about 1872 in Ontario).
