Maureen, I have really messed this up..Lol

I have a family member that I want to have access to all my family profiles. It appears that I must have several and he is able to merge everything. Steven Ewing has my permission. It seams that I'm not understanding how to open or unlock these profiles. I'm now using a phone and not my computer.

Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.

Questions? You can always use the G2G link in the Help Menu to find answers.

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards .

If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles .

If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.

You are now a full member of the WikiTree Community where we are building one Collaborative Tree with *one* profile per person. It is important to make sure you are not creating a duplicate profile when you add someone to the tree.

If you just want to explore our site and look for information, we’re perfectly okay with that. Everything is free here and you don't need to volunteer to do some exploring. The upper right hand corner has five menus with useful links. To search for your ancestors use the 'Find' menu and click on People: Search.

You can also visit the G2G Forum (see Help menu) to discuss your genealogy with other Wikitreers.
