Biography

Alexander Gunn is a member of Clan Gunn.

Reverend Alexander Gunn was the minister at the parish of the Free Church in Watten.

In 1837 Alexander married Alison Murdoch in Pulteney, Wick. The marriage was performed by Reverend Robert Phin. Alexander was serving as a minister in Watten at the time of his marriage.[1]

Alexander was named as the father of Alice Gunn on her baptism record.[2]

In 1851 Reverend Gunn is recorded as living in Watten with his wife and children at their home in Wester Watten. Three house servants were living with them: Margaret Calder, Jane Gow and Daniel Mowat.[3]
