Joshua married Mary ?Cooper? about 1762 in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. [2]
Joshua was a Patriot of the American Revolution. He hired a substitute to enlist in the Rhode Island Militia. He is a proven DAR Patriot.[3]
Joshua Godfrey performed Patriotic Service in Rhode Island in the American Revolution.
