Calogero was probably born in the first half of the 1700s, before 1741 [1]. He was a son of Antonino Giacone and Girolama Cardella [2]. He married Rosalia Tumminello in 1759 [3] and they had several children. He was living as of 14 September 1788. He died before 31 October 1802 [4].
