Biography
Janet (Jessie) Forlonge, b. Hobart, Van Diemen’s Land, 18 Aug 1839;[1] bapt. St John, Parramatta, NSW, 20 Sept following;[2] m. at Paddington St James, 14 July 1858, William Barton Wright (b. Merton House, North Shields, 13 Nov 1828; d. St Leonards-on-Sea, Sussex, 1915), engineer on the Madras Railways; Locomotive Superintendent of the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway, 1875–86; tea planter in India; owner of Bitherookardu estate in Nellacotta, Nilgiri; she was bur. St James, Dover, Kent, 11 Nov 1892, having had six sons (two d. young) and three daughters.
