Biography
When Abram Foland was born on June 4, 1836, in Cobleskill, New York, his father, Philip, was 37 and his mother, Rebecca, was 24. He married Mary E Snyder Foland Hinman in 1856. Entered Union Service 1861 was wounded in Marye’s Heights Campaign March 1863 and medically discharged. They had six children in 13 years. He died on April 10, 1873, in Pickett, Wisconsin, at the age of 36, and was buried there.
