Biography

John was born about 1904, in Oklahoma. He was the son of Henry Foland and Celia unknown. The family moves back to his father's state and county of origin, Madison, Indiana between 1910 and 1916. In the 1920 census, John was working as a cobbler in a shoe store. By Nov. of that year, he has moved back to Oklahoma, and is getting married. In the 1930 census he is living in Okmulgee, and working as an automobile mechanic. In the 1940 census, he is living in Okmulgee, working in salvage as a metal buyer. It says that he was living in Hughes, Oklahoma in 1935. He passed away about 1996, in San Diego, CA.
