William was the brother of Hugh fitzOsbern, and they were sons of Osbern fitzTezzon. [1]
In December 1153, William gave St. Mary's Nunnery in Chester two parts of the tithe of his demesne of Golborne (which Osbern fitzTezzon held in the Domesday survey) for the remission of his sins and for the soul of Randolph the earl. [2]
