Thomas FitzGerald is Notable.
Thomas Henry emigrated to New Zealand in 1842 as government surveyor where he met and married Jessie Wilson and together they had 3 daughters and 8 sons the youngest of whim was my great grandfather Bernard Peter Joseph. Together with their children they came to Brisbane, Australia . Thomas Henry was an early member of the Queensland and a pioneer in the sugar cane industry in Queensland.
