Biography

The daughter of Clyde Drewyor and Mary (Avery) Drewyor, Dorothy Drewyor was born in Tecumseh, Michigan in 1924.^{[citation needed]} By 1930, her family lived in Jackson, Michigan.^[1] By 1940, they lived in Lansing, Michigan.^[2] Dorothy Drewyor married Wayne Frederick Blanchard (1921-2002), the son of Claude Aden Blanchard and Martha Maria Augusta Kabel, marrying in Jackson, Michigan on July 17, 1948.^{[citation needed]}

They made their home in Tecumseh, Michigan and later, in Zelienople, Pennsylvania.^[3] Dorothy and Wayne Blanchard divorced in 1992, with the divorce being filed in Marion County, Florida.^{[citation needed]} Dorothy Blanchard passed away in Lenawee County, Michigan at the age of 84, with her last recorded address with the Social Security Administration being in Zelienople, Pennsylvania.^[4] She is buried with her parents at Ridgeway Cemetery in Ridgeway, Michigan, in Lenawee County.^[5]
