Biography
Joseph Alphonse Després was born on 1 May 1894 in Cocagne, New Brunswick, the son of Sylvestre Despres and Celina Breau.[1][2]
In the 1901 census Alphance, age 6, was a son in Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick.[3]
