Biography

Jaddus was born on 15 Apr 1872 and baptized in Cocagne on 6 May 1872. He was the son of Thadée Després and Marie Melanson. [1]
(Note: The priest mistakenly entered 15 July instead of 15 Apr on his baptism registration)

Jaddus (24) and Victoire Breau (17) were married on February 15, 1897 in Cocagne. Victoire was born on February 28, 1879 in Cocagne. She was the daughter of Abraham Breau and Henriette Poirier. [2][3]

In the 1901 census Jadus, age 27, cultivat'r, was the head of household in Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick.[4]

Jaddus passed away on May 15, 1961 in Cocagne, aged 89.[5]
