Biography
Napoléon Després was born on 13 Aug 1848 and baptized on 1 Sep 1848 in Cocagne, New Brunswick, the son of Louis Després and Perpétue Robichaud.[1][2] His godparents were Daniel Robichaud and Marguerite Després.
In the 1861 census Boney [sic] (age 13) was listed with his parents and siblings in Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick.[3]
Napoléon married Marguerite Caissie, daughter of Fidèle Caissie and Séraphique Poirier, on 2 Feb 1880 in Grande-Digue.[4]
In the 1901 census Jacques, age 45, day labourer, was the head of household in Shediac, Westmorland, New Brunswick.[5]
In the 1911 census John, age 53, was the head of household in Amherst, Cumberland, Nova Scotia.[6]
