Biography

Philibert Despres was born on 7 Jan 1864 in Cocagne , New Brunswick , Canada, son of Thomas Despres (1835 - 1907) and Osite (Melanson) Drepres (1840 - 1928).[1][2]

Philibert (31) married Eveline Cormier (23) (born in Cocagne on 18 Sep 1871; died in Cormierville, Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick, Canada on 10 Dec 1960), daughter of Magloire Cormier and Marie Arsenault, on 26 Aug 1895 in Cocagne .[3][4] Their children were:

In the 1921 census Philibert (age 57), a farmer, was the married head of household in Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick, Canada.[7]

Philibert died on 3 Jun 1956 in Cocagne, Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick aged 92.[8][9]
