Augustine Darling was born in England.

Augustine Major Darling was born in 1857 in Suffolk, England, United Kingdom.^[1]He was the son of the Reverend James & Mary Darling.

He was a school teacher.

Augustine married Scottish-born Jane Baird Nimmo before 1898.

In the early 1900s he was head master of a preparatory school in Tonbridge, Kent.

Aged eighty years, he passed away in 1938 in Deben, Suffolk. ^[2]
