George Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone was born in Scotland on the 6th of May 1826. He was baptised in The Chapel of Garioch, Aberdeenshire, on the 10th of May 1826, and was the son of Robert Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone and his wife Graeme Hepburn. [1][2][3]
He was the tenth son of Sir Robert Dalrymple Horn Elphinstone.
Explored the Burdekin River in Queensland, and the Kennedy district.
George Dalrymple passed away at Hastings, Sussex, England on the 22nd of January 1876, and was buried there. [4][5]
