2. Obituary from the Madill Record, Aug. 16, 1962 -

Andy McClurkin Corder, who was 92 years old and who had been a resident of Marshall Co. since 1899, died Tuesday morning. His home was in Kingston. Mr. Corder had been ill only a few days and had been taken to an Ardmore hospital the day before his death. He was born March 10, 1870 in White Oak, S.C. He first came to this county in 1899, making his home first in the Willis community. In 1920 he moved to Kingston and had made his home there ever since. He had served for many years as justice of the peace in Kingston. He had been a member of the Methodist church since 1905. Mrs. Corder preceded him in death on February 27, 1954.

Funeral Services will be conducted tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Kingston from the Kingston Methodist church with the Rev. J.S. Dennis in charge. Burial will be in the Willis cemetery.

He is survived by six children, S.T. Corder of Kingston, Mrs. Marvin Shilling of Ardmore, Walter Corder of Yuma, Ariz., Raymond Corder of Morenci, Ariz., Jack Corder of Albuquerque, N.M., and Mrs Herman Miller of Burkburnett, Tx. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
