Hi, More quick tips:

Congratulations on passing the pre-1700 quiz. To coordinate with members working on profiles from the same time period, location, or historical topic. See Pre-1700 Profiles and Pre-1700 Projects for more information. http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Pre-1700_Project

Free Space pages are wiki pages for supplementing your family history. They can be used to profile anything of significance such as an event, a family heirloom .... They're "anything pages".

Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages.

Sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

Hello, My name is Sally Stovall, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site. Our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well - if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

Check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide to get you started.

Helpful guide here: Bartlett and here. We also have a Help Index with links to topics you may have questions on. Don't forget our G2G Forum where many of our generous members help each other out.

And I'm here to help.

Sandee, you are now a member of WikiTree! Please help us build one Collaborative Global Family Tree, which means only one profile per person. It's important that no duplicates are created and profiles are properly sourced. If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

To help you get started, view this introductory WikiTree video.

We also have Mentors who will be glad to answer questions.

Thanks for volunteering and welcome to the Tree!

Hi Sandee, I see you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. We have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening. If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.

I love doing genealogy, and learned you have to make mistakes , and run up the wrong roads sometimes to find a clue. I have learned to laugh, cry and a lot of patience with my ancestors( who I know are laughing at me) I have Grandparents hiding (at least that is how it feels), so that's me :)
