I have extensive roots in Germany Kranenburg, Osten, Mehl. Also my father, Milton Ambrose Collins had relatives on the Mayflower as well as first Europeans in France.

Wenda was born on a very hot Labor Day on Sept.1, 1949 at Swedish Hospital. Wenda's mother, Ingrid Barrett reminds her that it was 90degrees (before air conditioning), the windows were wide open and she was in labor for 33 hours. Ingrid and Milt Collins brought Wenda home to a house located on Angle Lake in King County, less than a mile from the Seatac airport. But it was less than a block from the Angle Lake Fire Station. Every time the siren went off, Wenda woke and cried.
The Collins's soon moved around the corner from the fire station so that everybody could sleep through the night.
Wenda lived her entire childhood on Angle Lake on a dirt road in the woods. It was wonderful.

It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines laid out on that page.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
