Biography

Stephen was born in 1792. He passed away in 1882.

"The Sabbath Recorder", Vol 38, No 48, p 5, Nov. 30, 1882.

In the town of Alfred, Allegany Co., N. Y., Nov. 24, 1882, of age and general infirmity, Stephen Collins, aged 90 years and 6 months. He was the oldest man in the town. He was born in Rhode Island, and in early life came to Brookfield, N. Y. From there he moved into Alfred in 1818, where he has since resided. His early belief and convictions were in sympathy with the Society of Friends. Many years ago, he claimed to be converted to Christ and his religion. His relatives are comforted with the hope that he was a true believer in the Saviour.

After I added this one there is some speculation as if he belongs in this particular family. No definite Records for his parents or siblings. I might have added him to quickly and should have done more research.
