Biography

Charles Augustus Coghlan was born at Castlereagh Street, Sydney, New South Wales in 1851. He was the son of Thomas Coghlan and Dorcus Jordan.^[1][2][3]

Charles married Henrietta Gale at St. Mark's Church, Darling Point, New South Wales on 16 July 1890.^[4][2]

Charles died in his residence of Elizabeth, Bay Road, Elizabeth Bay, New South Wales on 2 January 1935, aged 84.^[5][2][6]

Research Notes

Death date was initially shown at 1857 in Chatswood however 1935 death is correct and is supported by the newspaper article.^[7]
