Biography
Margaret was born about 1835. She was the daughter of Neil Clarke / Clark. Her mother is unknown since Neal / Neil's 1st wife Nelly died in 1834 and he did not marry Flora until 1837.
In the 1841 census Margt Clerk (age 6) was in Druimaghoin, Gigha and Cara, Argyll.[1]
In the 1851 census Margaret (age 16) was the daughter of Niel Clark in Keil, Gigha and Cara, Argyll.[2][3][4]
