The Star and Vidette, March 3, 1927: Hulse Business Sold
Orangeville Banner—Robert Clark, undertaker of Alton and H. C. Bowes, a Caledon young man, who recently qualified as a licensed undertaker and embalmer, purchased the undertaking business of the late J. H. Hulse last week and took over the business on Thursday morning. Mr. David Halbert who was with Mr. Hulse for several years will remain with the new firm, which will continue the business along the lines that Mr. Hulse followed so acceptably during his long and successful career in Orangeville. They will also continue the Alton business. For the present Mr. Bowes and Mr. Halbert are in charge of the Undertaking Parlors here, but we understand that Mr. Clark is planning to move to Orangeville about April 1st.
