Edward Chastang is a part of US Black heritage.
When Edward Zeno Chastang was born on July 24, 1820, in Mobile, Alabama, his father, Edward, was 31 and his mother, Maria, was 30. He was baptized on 1 Jun 1821.[1] The baptism record has his mother listed as Celeste Augusta (Collins) Chastang (1789-1863) but this WikiTree profile has her marrying his father 20 years after this Edward was born.
Edward married Mary Petite on 11 September 1843 in Mobile, Alabama, United States.[2]
Edward and Mary had 3 children.

- Cecilia 1853. Cecilia Tuttle, daughter of Edward Chastang & Mary Petitte, died (age 70) in 1938 in Alabama, United States.[3]
