It has been a couple of weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Louisiana Families Project and as we haven't heard from you, we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member.
We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. If this is the case for you, please let us know.
If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.
Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.
On behalf of the Louisiana Families Project, we are doing a periodic check-in with members. Please review the project page [1], and if you feel you are able and would like to contribute to the project in the upcoming months, please let me know by commenting on my profile or sending a private message. If you have other obligations or interests at the moment and would like to be removed from the project at this time, you will always be welcome to rejoin if you find yourself with more time and interest later.
All of us at WikiTree would like to thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your roots.
Hi Kristine, I am going to send you images from the New Orleans books I have so you can source the Panquernes/Baumgartners profile you manage when you have the time of course, no rush.
hi again... I saw a comment somewhere that a woman didn't adopt her husband's surname but might add it as a dite name. I'll see if I can find it & post to the name studies page.
The project account has a handy set of links on it... I use it most to connect to the Google Group. It's also listed in Category:Louisiana Families Project along with other project members who have added the category to their profile (encouraged, but not a requirement).
Please stop by the project page - I've added your name to the members listed there, if you'd like to add to it. If not, you or I can delete it next week or so.
Hi Kristine, I see that you just volunteered and signed our honor code. That's great! Here at WikiTree we like to have our members involved with others; collaboration is key! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Why don't you stop by the Italian Roots project, (currently led/coordinated by Michael Maranda to see how you can participate? I'll let the leaders know you are interested!
Let me know if you need help with anything. We are glad to have you on board!
Thanks for volunteering, Kristine! You are now a confirmed member of the WikiTree community.

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.
