Birth and Parents: Gary Carter was born on 24 February 1954 in United States, son of Thomas Otto Carter (1924 - 2015) and Bettye Jean (Hildreth) Carter (1930 - 1989).^[1]

Death and Burial: Gary Carter passed away on 19 August 1972 in Pelham, Shelby County, Alabama as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 18 years old. He was buried in Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham, Shelby County, Alabama.^[1][2][3]
