Cornelius Vaughan (bachelor) married Nancy Carter (spinster) on 11 November 1778 in Amherst County, Virginia. The bondsman was William Carter. He had the consent of his guardian, Joseph Edwards, who stated that Nancy Carter was the daughter of Job Carter.[1]
Edward Carter married Ann Vaughn(widow) in September 1782 in Amherst, Virginia, United States. Peter Carter was surety. Betty Loving, Mary Carter and Abraham Carter were witnesses.[2]
