Thomas, Lord Camoys (Camois)[1] alias Thomas, Lord Camois[2]
"Thomas Camoys was more an organizer of war than a warrior, but his work at Agincourt earned him his place in history.
Camoys served with the retinue of his kinsman William, Lord Latimer, in a French expedition in 1380 and was knighted by the earl of Buckingham.[1]
1383: "Allied with more royalist courtiers, Camoys was elected member of parliament for Surrey, but disqualified because he was a banneret, who were not to be elected knights of the shire.[5] Thereafter Camoys was summoned as baron to parliament and to the Scottish expedition of 1385.[1]
