Biography

I am the second genealogist for the Cake family that started in America in the Berks County area of Pennsylvania. The original genealogist was Dick Cake. I hold this man in great reverence. I am supported by 4 other family members.

At this time I have a large majority of this family identified but I have some brick walls. My Cake family is one of 5 or 6 Cake families that exist in the US and Canada. Up to now, I know of no one who has tied any of them together. This feat would be very desirable for all of the Cake families.

I am evaluating WikiTrees and if it appears to meet my requirements, I hope to add many people on my WikiTree that I am sure no one else has. I also have many side families that are tied to my Cake family.

At the present time I am using legacy software and I am running totally digital. Every person in my tree is tied to any document or picture that has his/her name on it.

If I decide to make WikiTrees my primary system, I will add links to sites that discuss my information.

I hope to have comrades that are committed to quality rather than quantity. So far WikiTrees seems to offer a good system.
