Biography

When Bernard J. Burns was born on September 1, 1845, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, his father, Bernard, was 35 and his mother, Catherine, was 37. He married Mary Theresa Mclaughlin in 1866. They had seven children in 15 years. He died on May 2, 1918, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, at the age of 72, and was buried in Chicago, Illinois.
