In the 1860 census Sally (age 28) was in Clinton, Kentucky, United States.^[2] In the 1870 census Sarah (age 41) was in Clinton, Kentucky, United States.^[3] In the 1880 census Sarah (age 45), Keeping House, was the wife of Andrew Lawson in Magisterial District 2 Hayes, Clinton, Kentucky, United States.^[4]

In the 1900 census Sallie (age 66) was the widowed head of household in Mullentaun, Wayne, Kentucky.^[5] In the 1910 census Sarah (age 80) was the widowed mother of James F Lawson in Mullentown, Wayne, Kentucky, United States.^[6]
