In the 1901 census Mary (age 34) was the wife of Daniel Williams in Loughor, Swansea, Wales, United Kingdom.[2]

Mary immigrated from Liverpool, England on 16 August 1902. She was accompanied by children,: Alice, James, Nicholas, Sidney, Edith and Frederick.[3]

Mrs Williams (age 36) arrived on the ship Siberian on 28 August 1902 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada having departed from Liverpool, England.[4]

In the 1911 census Mary was the wife of Daniel Williams in Cape Breton, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada.[5]

Mary Brown's daughter Edythe Maude Williams married Harper L Travis on 16 June 1921 in Sydney 28A, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada.[6]
