Clarence Brown is Notable.
American congressman and president of the Brown Publishing Company. He served as Lieutenant Governor of Ohio (1919-23), and Secretary of State of Ohio (1927-33).
Clarence J Brown was born on 14 Jul 1893 in Blanchester, Ohio to parents Owen Newton Brown and Ellen Barerre McCoppin.
He married Ethel McKinney and they had two children:
- Betty Jean Brown (later Dearing) (1917-1977)
- Clarence John "Bud" Brown Jr. (1927-2022)
He passed away on 23 Aug 1965 in Washington, D.C. He was buried in Blanchester IOOF Cemetery, an Odd Fellows Cemetery.[1]
