When Sylvia Clyde Brown was born on 18 March 1908, in Tennessee, United States, her father, Andrew Johnson Brown, was 43 and her mother, Martha Underhill, was 34.[1]
In 1910, Sylvia lived in Civil District 11, Greene, Tennessee, United States with her parents and siblings.[2]
She married George Clarence Brotherton on 8 September 1926, in Greene, Tennessee, United States.[3]
They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 2 daughters.[4]
George and Sylvia lost two (2) children in three (3) years.[5][6]
She died in 1978, at the age of 70 in Morristown, Hamblen, Tennessee, United States,[7] and was buried in Providence Cemetery, Rogersville, Hawkins, Tennessee, United States.[8]
