Biography

Celia's son George is described, at his baptism, as the base born son of Celia Chowns of Moreton who was 'poor'. Celia appears to have been previously married to John Chowns and had three sons by him in the 1820's

The marriage to John Chown gives her surname as Brown. She appears in the censuses for 1841, 1851 and 1861 as Chowns or Chown. There is a burial record for a Celia Chowns in 1868 in Thame at the age of 74 (so born about 1794). So I don't think that she could ever have been married to a William Bull and that this spouse should be removed. Also this profile should have the Last Name at Birth as Brown so could you please update?
