Beers was born 1 May 1848 at Roxbury, Litchfield County, Connecticut, United States, died 10 Nov 1928 at Stamford, Fairfield, Connecticut, USA, son of Chauncey Beers and Laura (Dunning) Beers; married 31 Dec 1873 to Gertrude Amanda (Treat) Nettleton, (wid. of Joseph Stone Nettleton) born 24 Jan 1844 at Southbury, New Haven, Connecticut, USA, died in 1933 at Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut, USA, daughter of Bethuel Treat (1806-1875) and Amanda (Hawley) Treat (1806-1848); buried at Center Cemetery, Bridgewater, Litchfield County, Connecticut, USA.^[1]
