Amariah Beers was born 12 July 1795 at Newtown, Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States, died there 7 March 1865, son of Samuel Beers and Ann Peck; married 20 Sept 1818 at Newtown, Fairfield Co., Conn, USA to Betsey Curtis, born 14 Nov 1795 at Newtown, Conn, USA, died there 25 April 1858, daughter of Philo Curtis (also spelled Curtiss) (1760-1818) and Huldah (Hubbell) Curtis (1757-1853); buried at Newtown Village Cemetery, Newtown, Fairfield County, Connecticut, USA.[1]
Only child of Amariah Beers and Betsey (Curtis) Beers:
- Henry Nichols Beers, b. 13 May 1821, died 9 March 1867 (all at Newtown), married at Pawtucket, R.I. 28 Sept 1850 to Sarah Jane Chafee (1830-1922).
