Biography

Kate Ann Baxter was born in 1865 in Walton Cheshire England ^[1]. She was baptised on 16 July 1865 in Daresbury, Cheshire. ^[2]

Her mother married James Toft in 1870 and in 1871, Kate Ann was living in Walton village, Cheshire with her grandmother, her mother, her stepfather and baby stepsister ^[3] ;in 1881 she was living in Walton Village, Cheshire with her mother and stepfather. ^[1]

She married Peter Broadhurst in 1885. ^[4] They had at least 4 children. ^[5]

In 1911 she was living with her husband and 3 children at 23 Cumberland St Warrington, Lancashire. Her husband was a railway labourer. ^[6]
