Glendon Roman Barnett was born on March 29, 1944. He was the son of Virginia Jean (Cerasoli) Barnett (1924-2000) and Glendon "Dub" Goslant Barnett (1924-2009).
He had 4 brothers; (Thomas Charles, Timothy John, Mitchell Goslant, and Roger Anthony), and 5 sisters (JoAnne Lee, Joanna Lynn, Rosemary Nora, Pamela Eve, and Glenda Jean).
His last known residence was Jaffrey, New Hampshire, USA.
Glendon began his tour of duty on February 14, 1967 with the United States Army. He served with the 1st Infantry Division, 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry, B Company. He was a Specialist Four.
Glendon Barnett was killed in action on June 14, 1967 in Binh Duong, South Vietnam during the Battle of Xom Bo.
